5 Stars Best FM Transmitter Ever Used
This is the best FM transmitter/charger I have ever used. I have not had to change the trasmission station on it once. This includes a roadtrip to Florida from Wisconsin. This is worth every cent.
1 Star Do not buy, terrible quality.
I got this product for 15 dollars and it wasn’t even worth that. The FM transmitter worked very well at first and it charged my iPod but after one use, IT BROKE! It’s very cheaply made and is terrible quality. If your looking for an FM radio transmitter and is hesitating between this one and another FM transmitter, let me help you out, DON’T BUY THIS ONE! Your probably better off buying brand name products like Belkin, etc.

Great product for the price, however, the remote worked for only one day! This has to be one of my best buys in my life! Great Product!!!
3 Stars Works great
This product works great. The only problem I found is that it doesn’t charge my ipod touch 2G. Appparently Apple made some changes in 2.1 that removed the 12v charging capability. This isn’t a problem as I don’t do a lot of driving and can charge at home. Maybe they are making a newer version that addresses this. Another thing to watch out for is available space in front of your cigarette lighter. The unit basically sticks straight out from the socket so make sure you have plenty of space.
1 Star DO NOT BUY
This is NOT made by Apple as the title makes it sound. It does not automatically find the best channel and it needs constant attention to ensure a static free experience, making it a hazard for driving. If you have limited space at your lighter area, this is not a good choice.
It does hold the Classic iPod firmly in place and does fairly well with the squarish nano.

4 Stars Nano’s beware
I bought this item for my wife who uses it at work. She needed a radio/iPod combination, and this looked like the perfect match. The sound quality is excellent, especially for a smaller room. The only complaint is with the iPod adapter for the Nano, it really should be designed better. The way the adapter is made makes it hard to fit the Nano into the cradle. I had to angle the bottom of the Nano while forcing it down rather hard to get it to sit properly. I was worried I might damage the Nano by having to force it so much. Other than that, I think it’s a great product for the money.

I have been using this system for a month now. It is great for the bedroom. Good speaker quality. I enjoy setting the sleep function and being put to sleep with my tunes. Great invention. I love it.
4 Stars Great, with limitations.
The good: The sound is great for a small unit. The dual-purpose mounting/portability is exactly what we were looking for.
Now the warning: the description says “for IPods prior to Sept 2006″ and that’s very true. I bought my wife a 3rd Gen Nano for Christmas and thought this was the ideal dock for her kitchen. Seeing the notice, I checked with Apple to make sure they were still compatible. The docks are compatible, but the play/pause & skip functions for the IPod on the unit and on the remote do not work at all.
If this weren’t such an integral part of the unit, it would be a minor inconvenience. And if the controls worked, this rating would be a five. The iTone otherwise is exactly what we wanted, I just couldn’t get a clear picture ahead of time what it’s limitations were.

This machine is very handy and portable. The sound quality is somewhat lacking, but in this price range, I think this stereo is a good deal. I use it in the kitchen while cooking and take it outside while gardening. It charges your ipod and is fairly user friendly. The design is the sleekest on the market.

We have two different ipods in the house (original ipod and a new nano) and both easily adapt to this system. It was very easy to install under our kitchen cabinet. You can also take it off the mounted bracket and carry it anywhere. The sound quality is great and it’s very compact. I would definitely recommend this item.

This is the second one I have bought within two months and they both were defective. The first one last about a day and the sound went out for no reason. The second worked for about three days and the sound stopped completely. I called Emerson and they told me they both had amplifier problems. You may have more luck than I did, but I would think twice about purchasing this stereo system model.

This is a great product.Emerson iTone iE600BK Home Audio System (Black) It is a name brand, and performs wonderfully. It was purchased for a 20 year old and he’s very pleased with it. One of the main goals was a system that would PROTECT the ipod, not leave it sticking up or out, where it could get damaged. It does that very well. The sound is good. It’s not so large it takes up a load of room, but big enough to be a solid piece.One big selling point was probably the cd player. This is a great all around system, it’s all there! ipod, cd, radio,alarm,even external ports. Now there isn’t as many pieces of equipment by the bed! He wakes up to his own music! EXCELLENT. HIGHLT RECOMENDED!!!
2 Stars For just a bit more
Just want to pass on that I bought this Emerson product as a gift for my mom. It seems “okay”. We hooked it all up and sounded fair for the price, but then we began our literal comparison. My daughter has a Klipsch I-Groove so we already knew it was INCREDIBLE but I thought it would be just fine to buy my mom the unit with the extra features instead of all the power…Don’t do it! It’s REALLY not worth the money you pay for it when you can spend just a bit more and get the POWER HOUSE I-GROOVE! I PROMISE you won’t regret it. We ended up returning this Emerson and ordering my mom the I-Groove. And then my mom ended up buying me the Klipsch for Christmas too. All worked out great…so glad we made the return. Save yourself the hassle. Go check out the I-Groove!
2 Stars I loved this thing….when it worked.
When it worked, this little CD player/alarm clock/ipod dock was pretty nice. I loved waking up to my ipod, since it would start out really quiet and slowly get louder, not jarring me out of bed like most alarms. The display is not good for an actual clock though, because it’s tiny and you can only see it with the blue light on which is too bright when you’re trying to sleep.
I thought the sound quality was pretty good for such a small machine and I used to crank it up pretty loud. The radio reception is horrible. The CD player doesn’t have a shuffle option that I could find, but that wasn’t too big of a deal, I bought it mostly for my ipod.
In less than a year, the connector jack for the ipod stopped transmitting sound. It recognizes the ipod but there is no sound unless you jiggle the ipod while it’s on the dock. Even then, it will sort of work, but as soon as you let go, the sound goes away again. I even took the thing apart in case something came loose inside. To no avail. I can listen to the ipod if I connect it with an aux cable, but then I don’t get to use the alarm clock or the remote to control the ipod, which are two of the options I loved about this player. So it’s great, if it works. I don’t think I’ll buy another one. It’s too expensive to be so breakable.

This product was exactly what I was looking for. It plays the ipod, Cds, and radio. It is one of the only home systems I could find that had all of those features. I’m very pleased.
