Owners of the Palm Pre who happen to use Apple’s iTunes application will all doubtless know that you can sync the Pre with iTunes thanks to the device managing to fool the application into thinking its syncing with an iPod but, as expected, Apple have acted to address what they term as ‘devices falsely pretending to be iPods’ (falsely pretending? Apple have officially announced the latest iteration of the iPhone, known as the iPhone 3G S - and the fact that “S” stands for “Speed” certainly goes a long way to describing what the newest 3G iPhone has on offer - and, yes, along with a host of improvements, thanks to iPhone OS 3.0 the iPhone 3G S does offer copy & paste functionality. Whilst the original Mintpass Mintpad is yet to see its much anticipated and much delayed US and UK release, it seems that Mintpad are already brainstorming the next iteration of the Mintpad which, according to Mintpass’s CFO, is envisaged as being a larger device that could see GPS integration.
