2 Stars Very Cheap & Poor Sound Quality
I bought this MP3 player because my iPod broke and I did not feel like spending $250 right away to get a new one. All I wanted to use this SanDisk for was working out at the gym, and listening to some music before sleep.
This product works fine at high volume in the gym setting, but the equalizer is crap. I use a nice pair of skullcandy headphones, and the music sounds like it is coming out of an extremely old set of speakers.
At low volume, there is this very irritating buzz that interferes with the music, probably because the MP3 decoder that the device uses is crap.
Bottom line – The product sucks if you are used to listening to high quality MP3’s above 128kbits. All of my music is at 256K or higher, and it just sounds like crap. I only use this device in the gym where I play it very loud, which drowns out the annoying buzz that you typically hear at low volume. You get what you pay for with this device.

I bought this to play audible books, not music. I find it difficult to manuver through, especially to bookmark my place. If I put it on pause to attend to something else for a minute, it shuts itself off in about 30 seconds. Then you have to wait about 5 mins to turn it back on again. I like my Creative Zen much better.

2 Stars Great little device, but no fast forward
I was so excited to get this device for audio books. I was very disappointed when I started a book and found that if I stopped mid-chapter, I could not get back to my place. It’s a big problem when the “chapter” is an hour long and I’ve listened to 40 minutes of it! I either have to start over, skip the last 20 minutes, or let it run and set a timer to pick it up at the right spot. Not very convienent. Great sound, easy to load with music…would be fantastic if I only wanted to listen to music!

This was a gift for my older sister. She has been very pleased with thus far. However, the battery life seems to be less than what is written on the package.

I purchased this product a while ago and returned it promptly. Customer support was childish but very quick.
My main issues with this procduct were:
1:) Very poor sound quality. The 1/8th phono jack output was terrible. No matter how I adjusted, the sound quality was muted, and overly tinny. The external speaker was unusable.
2:) While the LCD quality seemed ok, I had many issues with video conversion and playback. Screen sensitivity ranged from quick to slow.
Overall fit and finish was very poor, typical of generic rockfish equipped “MP4″ players.
Save your money for something better. Creative and Samsung have FAR superior offerings for a bit more.

I bought it for my daughter’s birthday gift. Unfortunately the item I ordered first was lost during its delivering. Right after I knew it is lost, I contacted customer service of this company. Their action was really good, and quick. They responded my question within 10 minutes, and tried to help me a lot. The company sent a new mp3 for lost one, and I got it yesterday. My daughter is really enjoying with playing it. Though there were some troubles in getting useed it, their quick answer solved all problems I had. It is an awsome customer service. It is really good.
5 Stars Awesome in Every Way! Not a SINGLE problem.
I received this item, wary of some complaints customers have had, and let me say: This thing rocks! It packs an amazing amount of features for the price. I’ve already beat the thing to heck in back (Had a hard crash on my PC while it was still plugged in) and it works great. Never freezes, touchscreen has good sensitivity (after calibration).
The battery charger is quick and easy to use, the video converting software from the company website is lightweight and does it’s job. The video playback quality is great, and the included earbuds are good as well. The only con is the external speaker (not that good) but I never use that anyway.
I really like how simple it is to load music, plug it in, then drag and drop MP3 files. No special software needed.
If you are thinking about buying this but are scared by some of the bad reviews – get it. This isn’t a $300 iPod touch, so don’t expect one. This is an inexpensive awesome touchscreen media player.
4 Stars Good Deal Great Support
if you are looking for a player that may not be the latest and slickest, but has plenty of features. This is a good little player at a great price with great support. Sound is very good, quality of pictures and video is good.
As many mention, the video conversion software provided needs updating (availabe on the company website). My e-mail query to them was answered immediately and was most friendly.
Major selling point to me is it does not require recent (or really any) version of Windows Media player. Which means I can load whatever I want and not have to dance through Microsoft hoops to hear my tunes.
There may be other players out there that are more loaded and sexy and probably smoother, but this one does all I need and then some. And I have enough money left over to buy another one for a friend.

Pros: The shipping time was remarkably fast! Player meets all my needs. Tons of space;plus I use an additional 2GB mini-sd card for mine. This company has great customer service. All responses were made within minutes!
Cons: I had a few issues with the mp4-to-avi converter, though. Also, the screen has just started turning to a blank white in the middle of playing music or reviewing a voice recording.
All in all, an ok player for the price.
