1 Star bargaincell sucks
order from another vendor. aside from inferior products, bargaincell took almost a full week to merely put my order in the mail.
5 Stars Works great
I don’t know how they can sell these chargers at such a low price and still make money. I was wary based on the low price, but the chargers work just fine.
One issue, though, is that I received two AC (wall) chargers and no car charger. I contacted the vendor, whose response seemed confused to me, and they promptly sent a replacement, which turned out to be a third wall charger. I ultimately emailed them both the product descriptions and the posted pictures before they sent still another replacement unit, and this time they finally sent the car charger. Their postage cost probably exceeded the cost of the items!
1 Star Charger doesn’t work
I purchased this two weeks ago. The first thing that happened was that the tracking was off. I checked the tracking info a couple of days after the order and saw that the company said my product had been delivered last month. The company assured me that the product was on its way and indeed, it did get to me. However, when I tried using it, the connector on the wall plug did NOT fit my Sansa. The car charger does so I guess it’s not a total loss. Can’t figure out why the car charger would fit my Sansa and not the wall plug. Eyeballing them, they look just like each other. I guess you get what you pay for.

This is an awesome product. It works in the car or plugged into the wall outlet. The order came in on time. The chargers seem to be kind of cheap, but they work great and you cant beat that price.

Ordered this product for my sister and she loves it. The only issue that I had was that the wall charger takes up two plugs on certain power stips.

5 Stars Works well with the iPod (touch), phones, and Xbox 360 controllers!!!
I wanted to get this product for my iPod touch so that I don’t have to turn on a computer every time my iPod needs to be charged. I was going to pay $20 separately for a wall charger and car charger at a store, until I found this on Amazon. As is described, the wall plug and the car adapter have USB docks in them. iPods aren’t the only things that these things can recharge, though. I plugged in my phone via USB and it worked as I expected. This is a nice feature because it will save me from having to buy a new car adapter for every new phone I get, so long as I have a USB cable for said phone, that is. It’ll even recharge my Xbox 360 wireless controller! Sometimes I need to recharge my Xbox 360 controller but the Xbox 360 is annoyingly loud, turned on, when you’re not using it. Such a pleasant capability!
Aside from the wall plug and car adapter, the USB data cable works just as well for syncing iPods as the one that comes with them. The fact that the cord is retractable is very convenient because it eliminates any tangling of other cords and it’s easy to just slip in your pocket in case you’re planning on recharging your iPod somewhere like at school. It isn’t as long as the one that came with my iPod, but it certainly is nice to have because sometimes I need to recharge my iPod with my MacBook, but have a hard time bringing that long messy cord that comes with the iPod.
All in all, the wall plug, the car adapter, and the retractable USB data cables defeat messiness and will save you money on extra junk that you think you may need. It’s a must own for ANYONE who needs to charge a device via USB. Did I mention that it’ll even recharge Xbox 360 or PS3 wireless controllers? Whether it’s an iPod, a phone, a game controller, or whatever that needs to be recharged via USB, I highly recommend this product to anyone.

It works fine, but the cord only extends to 2 ft. Think it should be at least 3 or 4 feet.

i bought this item for a friend who did not own a computer but needed a way to keep her ipod charged. very reasonbly price for a product that i was thinking should have been manufactured 10 years ago. highly recommend
4 Stars First charger faulty, second worked
Although the first charger I received didn’t work, when I contacted the seller (SPplanet) they quickly sent a replacement that has been working fine. For the the price I don’t think I can really complain.
Just make sure whatever company you’re buying from has a good replacement policy and you’ll end up saving yourself a bundle.
5 Stars Beats Apple’s price without sacrificing quality!
I bought this charger for my 3rd generation iPod nano. After reading the reviews I was a little scared that it would somehow ruin my expensive gadget. I plugged it in and when it didn’t explode, I let out a sigh of relief and let it charge. It seemed to go quicker than when I use my computer for charging (about 2hrs I think). You can continue using the iPod while it is charging, no problems. This product DOES work well, it will NOT ruin your iPod. Another thing I want to address is the concern of some reviewers that there is no indicator light that signifies a full battery. Your iPod display will show a full battery when it is full, so that shouldn’t be an issue. Don’t pay $30 for something you can get for less than $5 (including shipping I paid $4.33). Although it is very irritating that Apple charges $150+ for these iPods and then tax you even more for the stupid wall charger.
2 Stars Cheaply made, cheaply priced
This item is very cheap, and that is why I purchased it. But after several uses, the contact prongs pulled out and got stuck in the electrical outlet. So, I purchased a replacement. Guess what? Same result. The old saying, you get what you pay for, reigns true here. I recommend ordering a better, more expensive model. Or, order a handful of these because they break so often.
1 Star caution buyers
This charger fried 2 mp3 players, both less than 4 weeks old. A new Ipod touch stopped powering up after the first charge using this item. A cheaper mp3 player died after about a week of use. It worked for a few charges, then after plugging it in one day, I noticed the charging light on the player did not come on and it was extremely hot.
